Elim@Bristol

[jun 7th 2008]

Was a great night. Thanks to everyone who came. We're not sure how much was raised for the Burma and China relief appeal but I'm reliably informed that it was a good amount, so well done and thanks for giving. Slightly differently shaped set to the gig in Bristol that we played a couple of months ago. We played two new ones tonight. Both don't really have names yet (any suggestions?) but they're getting better every time we play them! We also played a song called Good Day, by our friend Wing, from Taiwan. That was good fun (well done Jes for getting all the chinese right!) and the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Well it's always nerve racking to play to your home crowd, but it's always special as well, and tonight really was no exception, so thanks Bristol, and until next time, stay classy.

Briton Ferry, South Wales

[may 24th 2008]

Well, as usual, Briton Ferry were an awesome crowd. They always are: so full of energy and so excited to be there. A pleasure to play to every time. Great to see the Connect guys playing as well - they get better and better. The crowd were treated to a good mixture of Openhanded and Three Bridges tunes, plus a brand new one, that has been played so far, once in Japan, once in England, and now once in Wales!

What a great sing along at the end to Turn Me Around. You guys rock. Until next time.......

Hope and Anchor, London

[may 17th 2008]

Well tonight was a really good one. It's always great when a tour just keeps gaining momentum, and that's definitely what's happening right now. Tonight was the first night of introducing a couple of brand new songs into the set. We're really excited about playing them because I guess they document our current creative process. But also it makes us excited about recording again in the future. So far there hasn't been a bad night and there's plenty more to come. Roll on Briton Ferry......

Cornwall UK

[may 13th 2008]

There were two Cornwall gigs last weekend, Friday in Falmouth and Saturday in Wadebridge. Both with the original S & J band - Narrowpath! It was such a great time from many of angles. Firstly the gigs were great. Lots of people, and musically everything went really well. Not to mention Narrowpath playing out of their skin both nights. Another great thing was ...Narrowpath. We had a blast hanging out with them. We love what they do and they are such fun to be around. Another thing to mention is how amazing Cornwall is on a boiling hot sunny weekend - it's inspiring! The tour is really in motion now, and there's so much to come. Roll on summer!
